Event Planning
The Payne Stewart Golf Club Staff specializes in customizing tournaments based on individual needs. For groups of 16 players or more, our tournament staff will work with you to organize and manage every aspect of your event. We strive to make your job as tournament coordinator, a painless and successful pleasure.
Whether you are organizing a corporate outing for your company or clients, a fundraiser for your favorite charity, or just a casual day of fun with your friends we are at your service!
Inclusive services
The Payne Stewart Golf Club Staff prides itself on offering a turn-key tournament experience to all groups. Groups with 16 players or more will automatically enjoy the following services and benefits:
- Advance booking up to 6 months before the event
- Recommendations on format, competitions, and course set-up based on group profile
- Personalized Welcome Board at Clubhouse entrance and a greeting service staff for event staging
- Assistance with installation of Company Provided Tee-signs, banners or signage
- Alphabetical participant and tee time and start position listings
- Personalized Welcome letter on each golf cart
- Practice warm-up balls and range staging
- Personalized scorecards
- Pin placement information for each player
- Yardage assistance by GPS or yardage guide
- Hole description and playing keys by Mike Hicks, Payne Stewart's PGA TOUR caddy
- On course event coordination if needed- Closest to the pin, long drive or other contest documents
- $10 per player Golf Shop Merchandise Credit Certificate or Prize Fund
- Payne Stewart Bag Tag or another gift for each guest
- Event scoring
- Establish Master Charge Accounts in Golf Shop if desired
- Establish Master Charge Accounts in Refreshment Carts and Restaurant if desired
Optional Services
And if we may suggest, making your outing something truly special, The Payne Stewart Golf Club will provide these added services for a nominal fee:
- Transportation to and from events
- Your corporate logo printed in color on all tournament information(i.e. welcome letters, cart signs, scorecards, hole contest cards, scoreboard, etc.)
- Personalized banners, tee signs and event signage
- Assistance with on-site registration and tee gift distribution
- Personalized Payne Stewart bag tags or selected gifts- engraved with guest name
- Volunteer training and coordination
- Shotgun Start
- Customized pin flags- with corporate or event logo
- Hole-in-one contests, insurance, and automobile or contest prize coordination
- Instructional Clinics and Exhibitions
- Individual and group photography
- Off course event coordination- Putting Contests, Shoot-outs, etc.
- Merchandise prizes and gift certificates
- Awards ceremony including; Public address system, professional scoring and scoreboards
- Overnight club storage and day lockers
Food and Beverage Services
The Payne Stewart Golf Club will provide a variety of options to handle all your food and beverage requirements for your event.
- Master Charge Account for the on-course refreshment services
- Master Charge Account at all food and beverage outlets and restaurants
- Meeting space and Audio-visual equipment- prior or post tournament
- Box Breakfasts and lunches
- Barbeque or grill cook-outs
- Plated/ sit down breakfasts, lunch and dinner services
- Tournament Awards Ceremony
- Hors D'oeuvres and cocktail parties
- Theme parties
- Coordination of Entertainment and venue décor
